
Enrolment at Newlands College involves a few easy steps:
Step 1 - On-Line Enrolment
All enrolments are to be completed on-line.
For planning purposes we request applications from the parents of students who live in our home zone, for entry into Year 9 in 2026, to be submitted by Wednesday 23 July 2025.
In zone applications can be accepted at any time by the Enrolment Officer.
Step 2 - Acknowledgement of Application and Completion of Enrolment Form
Once an initial application is received, a two step enrolment instruction for in-zone applicants will be sent to you seperately. If the application, together with completed documents are successfully submitted, then a formal acknowledgment email will be sent by the school.
Step 3 - Request for an Interview
If there is a specific aspect relating to your students learning requirements or anything else that you feel the school should be aware of to meet the needs of your student you can request an interview with a member of the staff including a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Head of Learning Support, Year 9 Dean, Guidance Counsellor, Enrichment Dean and Pou Manaaki. Step 4 - Start of School
For Year 9 students starting at the beginning of the year, key dates and details will be sent to you regarding our transition programme including an orientation morning which will be held in November, start dates and our annual Peer Support Camp that will be held in February.

For other year levels, following your interview, the Year Level Dean will be in contact to arrange a time to meet and discuss subject selection and start date.
